This Iced Ube Brûlée Boba Latte is a delicious combination of ube, boba, caramel, and coffee making it a refreshing and indulgent drink or treat.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (1 cup) milk of choice
  • 1-2 teaspoons Javy Coffee Concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon ube powder
  • Tapioca pearls (boba)
  • 1-2 tablespoons Javy Caramel Syrup
  • 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Kitchen torch for brûlée effect
  • Ice

Directions

  1. In a glass, a generous amount of prepared tapioca pearls. Add ice cubes on top.
  2. Add half of the milk, Javy Coffee Concentrate and Javy Caramel Syrup and stir well. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
  3. In a separate container, mix the rest of the milk and ube extract using a milk frother or electric frother until foamy and creamy.
  4. Pour the Ube foam on top of the coffee, creating a purple layer.
  5. For a brûlée topping, sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over the top of the latte. Using a kitchen torch, carefully torch the sugar until it caramelizes and forms a brûlée crust.
  6. Use a straw or a stirring stick to mix the layers together for a delightful combination of flavors and textures.
