Iced Sugar Cookie Latte
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 and half teaspoons vanilla extract
1and half teaspoons almond extract
3–4 drops imitation butter extract
2 shots espresso
1/2 cup oat milk
1–2 tablespoons sugar cookie syrup
Splash of heavy cream or plant-based cream, optional
Optional: Whipped topping
FOR THE SUGAR COOKIE SYRUP
FOR THE DRINK:
In a small saucepan, stir together brown sugar and water until brown sugar dissolves. Bring to a low simmer and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add extracts and remove from heat.
In a tall glass filled with ice, add your espresso, milk, and syrup. Stir to combine. Add a splash of heavy cream and whipped topping, if desired.
